★★★★★★★★★★4.5 · 1,796 reviews · 3 hours (approx.) · from $107Our pick

Start with an American-style breakfast in the Vatican’s Cortile della Pigna, then follow an English-speaking guide through the Vatican Museums, Gallery of Maps, Sistine Chapel, and St. Peter’s Basilica. Guides such as Eleanora, Cosimo, Cristian, and Stephanie have led this fast-paced, small-group visit.

“Our guide was wonderful and very educated on the history of the Vatican and the artwork found there. However, this tour was more focused on the museums in the Vatican than on the Vatican itself - no St. Peter’s Square for example. But it was very interesting and educational, and Sabrina, our guide, was wonderful.”

Local knowledge cannot be beaten and my wife took note of many local restaurants and other notable places. Pick up at hotel and drop off wherever you wish. Met people on the Vespa tour (part of the same family business) at a few locations we visited and everyone was enjoying themselves. Highly recommended and will do again!”

“It's a shame that the time of our tour was changed from 2:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. the evening before. This meant that we were unable to visit St. Peter's Basilica, which was actually very important to us. The guide was also very difficult to understand and paid little attention to the group. Next time I would prefer to book this tour with a different provider.”
